Emily Krauz
Staff Endowment
Scholarship
Committee
The Staff Endowment was begun in the late 1980's as part of the
Century II Capital Campaign. In 1996 the fund was renamed "The
Emily Krauz Staff Endowment Scholarship" in honor of Emily Krauz,
a dedicated staff member who worked as an administrative
associate at the Faculty Center until she passed on in 1996. The
fund has been funded entirely through donations from UA
employees, not all of whom were Classified Staff members. The
Staff Advisory Council was given the responsibility of
overseeing the endowment and the awarding of the earned interest
and the Emily Krauz Staff Endowment Scholarship committee was
created.
