UA Pride Night

SAC members Grace Aranda, Eva Gonzales, Claire Tapia (seen here with past member and fellow UA employee Carolyn Eaton) made the journey to Phoenix and toured the state capitol museum prior to meeting with Representative  Jennifer Burns on staff issues.  They then headed over to the Pride Night event.  Pride Night, which serves to remind the legislature of the many accomplishments the UA has provided the state and to ensure we have a voice in decisions they make everyday.

SAC at Cats in the Community

SAC members came out March 1st to help the Primavera Foundation in its rejuvenation process

Crossroads Conference

This years conference was another great success.  Special acknowledgement goes all our speakers especially Dr Shelton whose presence always makes the conference an event.  Thanks also to the Conference Planning Committee members for all the hours put into making this conference a reality. Your job is exemplary. Thank you:  Grace Aranda, Claudia Arias, Joyce Childers, Angie Gomez, Eva Gonzales, Lupe Jacobo, Kevin Law, Randy Livingston, Jean Mason, Shana McClelland, Mike Millard, Marcy Remington, Ana Rodriguez and especially Lilian Schwartz for her dedicated leadership!

Staff Awards for Excellence
Ted Tong received his Billy Joe Varney Award prior to the date of the event to attend to his duties with students which is just one reason he was nominated for the award.  See the event page for more winners.

President Shelton took time out of his busy schedule to congratulate staff members for their artistic works.

Spring Craft Showcase
Money raised from this event went to the Commission on the Status of Women children's playground project.
