Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Tucson Celebrity Waiters Dinner -
May 4, 2007
SAC members
volunteer for a number of organizations both on and off campus.
One such organization is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The 22nd annual Tucson Celebrity
Waiters Dinner honored two decades of volunteer service of Dr. George
Birger.

Volunteers had quite a time blowing up all the
balloons for the evening. A special treat was enclosed
inside...raffle prizes!

With someone
being diagnosed every 5 minutes with leukemia or its related diseases of
Hodgkin’s, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma, our challenge is clear. We
MUST find a cure, and need many generous friends to help achieve that
goal. Every ten minutes someone in this country dies of a blood
cancer. Please become our partner in working toward a cure for this #1
child-killing disease.
