She is on the Communications committee, is the webmaster for SAC, and
the SAC Announcements editor. She is SAC liaison for Life & Work Connections.
Grace loves to read and bake and spend time with her family and pets. Grace volunteers time with the American Cancer Society, Habitat for
Humanity, Hospice Family Care, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. |

Claudia has been with the University of Arizona since 2000
serving first with the University BookStores until 2002 when she
took the position of Secretary Administrative at Career
Services. She has received numerous awards for outstanding
achievement during her time at Career Services and was recently
honored with the prestigious President's Award for Excellence -
2009. Claudia is known by her co-workers as a "master organizer
and motivator." Her tireless enthusiasm extends beyond her
professional work and is also exemplified by her dedication to
campus and community activities such as: SAC, member since 2007;
United Way "UA Cares" (campaign coordinator since 2002);
American Cancer Society (volunteer since 2005); American
Diabetes Association (volunteer since 2003); South Tucson Police
Explorers Post #316 (advisor since 2003); Sunnyside Unified
School District- MASA and AVID Programs (youth supporter since
2003). Claudia also found time to complete UA's Professional
Success Institute in 2007. |

Cynthia has been at the UA since fall 2002. She
became a member of SAC in July 2012. Cynthia has worked closely with
students throughout her university career which began as a Financial Aid
Advisor at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico (her Alma
Mater) and at the UA first in the Scholarship office and for the last eight
years in the Graduate College Dean’s office. Cynthia would like to share
some of her 14 years of university experience with the SAC team and looks
forward to getting involved and supporting the classified staff both in the
Graduate College and University wide.

Greek Life Oracle Board and in the community.

Sharon has been at the UA since 1988. She worked four years in
the Office of Minority Student Affairs, two years in the UA
Travel Office and seventeen years in the Geosciences department
business office. In May 2008 she finished her bachelor's degree
at the UA in English Literature. Sharon has been a member of
the College of Science Staff Advisory Council in past years and
has been a member of UA SAC for two years, serving as Treasurer,
as a member of the Activities and Conference committees and will
be a new member of the Emily Krauz scholarship committee in
2011. Sharon has served as the SAC representative for the UA
Retiree Association for two years. |

Cathy’s background is in fundraising, bookkeeping and
administration. Cathy has been with the University of Arizona
since 2009. She worked at the College of Social & Behavioral
Sciences and the College of Architecture & Landscape
Architecture before joining the College of Law last year. She
grew up in Tucson and is a UA alumna. Cathy has also been
working for the Catalina Foothills School District Foundation as
their bookkeeper and managing their database for over 7 years. |

Marge is a member of the
Facilities Management Team and is a senior accounting assistant
in Business Services-Cost Accounting. She is a past recipient
of the Emily Krauz Staff Endowment Scholarship which enabled her
to become a 2011 graduate of Pima Community College. Marge has
completed the requirements of the Professional Success Institute
and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is also a
wellness liaison for Life and Work Connections. Before joining
the “U” in 2007, she was a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s
Association of Northeastern Ohio and member of its Advisory
Council. She also served as advisor and volunteer for 4-H.

Charlotte came to the University with a
background in Business Management, Event Planning and
Administration. She has been a seminar coordinator at the Department
of Chemistry and Biochemistry arraigning Eminent Scholar Seminars,
Biometals Symposium, Colloquiums and other events. Coordinating top
scientists through major universities to speak and collaborate with
the UA Community. Charlotte has been an accountant for the UA
HealthCare Partnership an evidence-based continuing education &
certification program that addresses health risk behaviors with an
emphasis on the treatment and early intervention of tobacco use and
dependence. She submitted grant proposals, coordinated events and
processed all the financial functions for the department. She is
currently at the Business Office at the Campus Rec center where she
works closely with the directors, coaches and area managers with UA
Financials, UA Foundation transactions and more. Charlotte created
the UA Financials Sub-account Reallocation process and procedures
being taught on UITS. She is currently a Chairperson with the UA
Commission on the Status of Women and heads up the Young Women's
Empowerment Academy. She enjoys working with and managing student
staff. And using her past job experiences at the U. Charlotte
served as the Business Manager of the Youth Football Federation and
coordinator of numerous community and educational events. She enjoys
working with and managing student staff. And using her past job
experiences to bring about efficiency at the Univ. of Arizona. |

Phyllis is the Program Coordinator in the Dean's
Office at the UA College of Nursing since 2007 and Affiliated Staff of the
Arizona Health Sciences Center Office of Public Affairs. Phyllis has been a
member of the Staff Advisory Council since 2008 and is currently serving on
the SAC Executive Board as the Parliamentarian/
Historian. Phyllis is on the UA Cares Steering Committee and an active
participant in the CATs in the Community Day as a Team Lead. She is also the
Committee Chair of the SAC Legislation Committee and has been involved in
the CATS at the Capital Day lobbying for higher education. Phyllis is an
award winning graphic designer. Recently, she was awarded the 2011 American
In House Design Award sponsored by the Creative Group for the creation of
the UA College of Nursing LinkIN! logo. Phyllis also has had an illustration
published in the 2011 Harmony Magazine sponsored by College of Medicine
Program in Medical Humanities. Phyllis brings a wealth of graphic design and
event planning experience to the University. Prior to joining the College of
Nursing, Phyllis' work experiences include being an Art Director, a Creative
Director, Graphic Designer, a Marketing Director, a Project Lead/Event
Planner, as well as owning her own business, Phyl S. Kabins

| Connie has been with
the U of A Extension, Pinal since 1997. She worked as a
Home Living Assistant, and as a Parenting Educator before
transferring into Instructional Specialist for the SNAP-Ed
Nutrition Program. Connie is currently working on her CNW with
the goal of completing in December of this year. She is a
native born Arizonan and raised in Pinal County. One of her
personal goals that she has accomplished is running a 5K for
Cancer Research Relay for Life. She enjoys gardening, cooking,
and spin class.

Melissa has been at the University of Arizona
since March, 2011. She was excited to join SAC in July, 2012, and
immediately volunteered for the Communications and Conference committees.
She is impressed with the exemplary work done by the SAC over the years, and
is looking forward to building on the Council’s past successes. In
particular, Melissa is interested in discovering ways to strengthen the ties
between main campus, and the health sciences campus. When not at work, she
enjoys growing her own food, tending her chickens, and walking her dog.

Michelle is an alumnus from the Eller College of Management and returned to
the University of Arizona to work in 2011. Michelle became involved in SAC
right away, but became an official member in November 2011. She has worked
on the AHSC SAC Employee Recognition Committee, Life & Work Connections
Committee, Sustainability Committee and the SAC Conference. This year she
has added the University SAC Employee Recognition Committee and the Staff
Dispute Resolution Committee. She also volunteers with the Southern Arizona
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen, and MPact Girl’s

Amy joined the University of Arizona in 2004 managing the office of Prof.
George Atkinson (Chemistry). She joined the administrative team supporting
Chemistry faculty in 2007 and is now also an Editor, Associate working for
Prof. Dennis L. Lichtenberger, an Editor of the ACS journal *Organometallics*.
Amy was awarded the University of Arizona President's Award for Excellence
in 2010. She was a member of the College of Science Staff Advisory Council
for two years and Vice-Chair of CoSSAC 2011-12. She has a PhD in the
Humanities from UCLA, was a Research Analyst and Project Manager at the
Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, held a post-doctorate in Art and
Neuroscience at Columbia University, and has a background in graphic design
of websites and book covers. She has volunteered for the Arizona Public
Media fund drive and is a standing member of or contributor to the
following: FINCA Microfinance Organizaton, USO, the Smithsonian Museum,
LACMA, Los Angeles Public Library, the Metropolitan Museum, New York Public
Library, Tucson Public Library, the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona,
Doctors without Borders, and the ACLU. Amy carries a commitment to the value
of the University of Arizona as more than just a premier academic
institution.

| Loretta wears several
hats in her position as a Human Resources (HR) Generalist at the
University of Arizona (UA). She is an Employee Advisor, working
closely with employees to provide guidance with job related
issues which may arise. Loretta also consults with UA
management assisting in the resolution of situations within
their departments and colleges. Loretta has been an employee of
the UA for over eleven years. She has a B.A. in Communication
from the UA and is currently enrolled in the M.Ed. program at
Northern Arizona University. Loretta is an avid Wildcat
Football fan and enjoys attending games with her family.

in the ski industry in Colorado where she managed the tour and

Shanley has been at the University since
Halloween of 2000. While most of her positions have been in
scientific arenas like Chemistry, Math, and Ecology and
Evolutionary Biology she also made her way across Speedway for
some time at Nursing. Currently, Shanley is the Executive
Assistant in the Office of Federal Relations, helping her
colleagues work with Federal Senators and Representatives to
obtain appropriations and earmarks for the University. During
her tenure at the UA, Shanley has volunteered her time for
various causes on campus including: COSAC and United Way and
currently is serving as a UA Brand Advocate and is on the Cats
in the Community Steering Committee. Outside of work she enjoys
hanging out with her two sons and new husband and encouraging
them to read, run and bike with her. |

Natalie has been at the UA since 2007 and has more than 35
years experience in Finance and Education. She works for the Director, Dr.
Francisco Garcia and is part of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public
Health. She recently became a member of SAC in July 2012 and serves as an
alternate on the MEZCOPH Staff Advisory Council. Natalie likes watching
movies, listening to jazz and gospel music, baking, spending time with her
family and is an avid UA Wildcat football and basketball fan. She volunteers
time with her church and recently became a first-time “grandma”.
