Applications Now Available for
UA Employee Emergency Fund
UA employees donated more than $20,000 during the 2011 UA Cares
campaign to the newly created UA Employee Emergency Fund. Thanks to
the generosity of so many dedicated employees, the fund and review
process is in place to accept applications. The EEF application and
more information about eligibility is available on the UA Cares
website:
UA Employee Emergency Fund (EEF)
The EEF is dedicated to helping UA employees who face an unexpected,
temporary financial hardship. Sudden illness, a family crisis, or a
natural disaster would all be considered temporary hardships.
Examples of eligible expenses might include medical expenses for a
sudden illness that are not covered by insurance, costs for travel
out of state for a family member's funeral, transportation emergency
costs such as an unexpected vehicle repair, or costs incurred as the
result of a natural disaster such as the Monument fire.
Employees are invited to submit an application if they meet the
qualifications described on the website. The fund and application
process is being coordinated by the UA Division of Human Resources.
More information, the application, and contact information is
available at:
