MESA MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE AS SCHEDULED Arrangements for the MESA meeting are proceeding as planned. MESA's Board of Directors has organized a special session that will address the events of September 11. We recognize that travel for our Middle Eastern friends and colleagues, especially those coming from the region, will be increasingly difficult given current events. Despite everything that has happened, we anticipate high attendance. MESA will do everything in its power to ensure the safety and security of its members. More now than ever, it is important for MESA members to gather to share ideas, to educate, and to advance accurate knowledge about the region. We wish everyone safe and smooth travels and look forward to our gathering in San Francisco.
