If you will require child care services during the MESA 2001 annual meeting, complete the child care registration form and submit it to the MESA Secretariat by no later than September 21. MESA will contract with a local service provider for on-site service, which will be available during the following hours:

Sunday, 11/18 7:30am - 6:30pm
Monday, 11/19 7:30am - 10:00pm
Tuesday, 11/20 7:30am - 4:00pm

What parents need to do: Determine their child care needs by consulting the preliminary meeting schedule. Complete and return the child care registration form (Acrobat pdf format) along with payment by no later than SEPTEMBER 21, 2001. Because of the anticipated volume, advance registration is required. It is doubtful that service will be available on a drop-in basis.

Anticipated child care costs to parents are as follows:

hourly $8/hour for 1st child
$6/hour per each additional child
daily $75/day for Sunday or Monday for first child
$57/day for Sunday or Monday for each additional child
$50 for Tuesday for first child
$38 for Tuesday for each additional child
meeting $150 for first child
$113 for each additional child

The rates reflect a 25% discount for the second, third, etc. child in the same family. Though these rates may seem high, they are heavily subsidized by MESA membership dues. These costs do not include food. MESA will have more information about options for meals and snacks at a later date.
