Special Features
Under a reciprocal agreement, the University of Connecticut Program in Middle Eastern Languages and Area Studies is recognized as a regional resource, and students from New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont may officially enroll in the program at reduced tuition for an undergraduate major. Facilities exist from study abroad with credit from the University of Connecticut Program. The University of Connecticut Program maintains ties with two other University topical and area studies programs -- The Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life, and the Center for Contemporary African Affairs.
