There are a limited number of fellowships available for qualified graduate students.

Special Features
A major in the Contemporary Middle East is possible for a student as part of the Modern Jewish History concentration of the 33 credit MA program in Jewish studies. In addition, a student may earn a PhD in Middle Eastern studies as part of a modern Jewish history specialization. There is an Institute for the Study of Israel and the Contemporary Middle East and a major international conference on Israel or the Middle East every two years.
