Scholarships/Graduate Support 
U.S. citizens and permanent residents in degree programs and in the Arabic Language Unit full-year program are  eligible for Stafford Student Loans for funding through the National Security Education Program (NSEP).  Veterans benefits may be available for degree study. Each year AUC offers  Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Graduate Fellowships; International Graduate Fellowships in Middle East Studies and in Sociology-Anthropology; and graduate fellowships in TEFL and TAFL.  Undergraduate study abroad students may apply for Simpson Scholarships in Egyptology. The Rotary Foundation awards scholarships which may be used for one year of graduate or language study.  The Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) offers fellowships for one year of intensive Arabic language student in the CASA Program.

Additional Information  
Competency in the Arabic Language is required for courses in Arabic Literature. In other offerings, the language of
instruction is English
