Courses
The Institute offers intensive MSA and CMA coursework throughout the year. Most
courses consist of six-week sessions comprising 120 hours of classroom instruction given
four hours per day. The language of
instruction is Arabic in all except the most elementary courses, where the use of English
is kept to a minimum. The institute also offers advanced level courses in the media,
Islamic texts and Maghribi literature.
Scholarships/Graduate Support
US federal government scholarship funds, including but not limited to FLAS, NSEP,
and Fulbright grants, can be applied to the cost of study.
A limited number of students, should their skills match the current needs for the
Institute, may be able to exchange specific services for a stipulated percentage of
tuition remission on a case-by-case basis. (All
requests should be made to the Director).
Special Features
Exclusive working relationship with the Moroccan-American Fulbright Commission
whose American grantees have an annual language and cultural orientation program. Special credit-bearing programs in conjunction
with the University of Florida at Gainsville, Virginia Military Institute, Dartmouth
University and Beloit College. Flexibility to
arrange private instruction on an hourly basis for students of all fields and specialties
