Panel member: National Institute of Medicine Committee on Preventing Nicotine Dependency in Children and Youths [1993-1994]. This panel published the influential Book: Growing up Tobacco Free in America.

h)

Member of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded TERN research group studying the etiology of tobacco use and transitions from low level use to dependency. Seven year commitment to this multi –disciplinary panel (1997-2004). Five meetings, 6 week commitment per year.
