ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

1. After a brief explanation from Dr H  the groups proceeded with the last steps of the ASSIGNMENT I-3  The Bristlecone Pine Project.  See pp 137 - 142 in CLASS NOTES. 

We worked on the following PART in class today (Day 3 of the BCP Class Project):

3.  Dr H reminded the class that the I-3 WRITTEN REPORT is due NEXT TUESDAY (Nov 4) in class.

ANNOUNCEMENTS  

• Your next RQ is due this week!!  The due date for RQ-6  is Thursday Oct 30th  30 minutes before class begins.
    
• The MIDTERM EXAM grading is almost complete --  You’ll get them back soon and a D2L Gradebook Update will be done.
  
• TEST # 3 is a week from THURSDAY (on Nov 6th) The “Top 10” will be posted this weekend

• Review Dr. H's presentation above and work your way as best you can on your own through the I-3 Worksheet  PART D  (pp 138-139 in Class Notes) by reviewing the links to the Skeleton Plot Masters & Ring Width Indices on the I-3 ASSIGNMENT page.  
  
  
• NOTE: Ideally, the best way to make up this class and be sure you are on the right track with PART D is to email one of the TA's or Dr. H to make arrangements (in advance) to attend their office hour this week so you can go through PART D to complete the info you need to write up the I-3 Written Report.
