ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

1. Dr H discussed the answers to the G-3 Assignment on Applying the Energy Balance Term

2.  Dr H then went on to give a presentation on Topic # 12 Laws of Motion & Momentum

3.  We watched a video on "Understanding Car Crashes:  It's Basic Physics" which included the answers to the questions on pp. 71-72 of Class Notes.    Did the Understanding Car Crashes video go too fast for you to get down all the answers??  Probably did! So CLICK HERE to get any answers for the blanks on pp 71-72 that you may have missed.

See the presentation for the DISCUSSION QUESTIONS at the end for you to think about and discuss with friends and family -- be ready to share your thoughts at the start of class next Tuesday.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The MIDTERM EXAM is a week from today on THURSDAY Oct 16th.  A Preceptor Study Session will take place on Wednesday Oct 15th from 7:00 to 8:50pm in ILC 125.
   
• A MIDTERM Study Guide will be posted on Sunday night Oct 12th in D2L under Study Guides.
  
  
• •Class attendance over the NEXT 3 TUESDAYS is CRITICAL !! These classes will be needed to complete your 35 pt
    I-3 Individual Assignment, THE BCP TREE-RING PROJECT if you miss one of these classes it will have to be made up.
