ANNOUNCEMENTS

IF YOU MISSED CLASS TODAY

In class today we did the following:

 1. Students were reminded to complete  RQ-4 on Thermodynamics is due Wednesday Oct 1st
                                                    (an extra day has been given to get this one done due to a delay in getting it posted.)

Also: ASSIGNMENT I-2 is due at the start of class on THURSDAY Oct 2nd -- please bring it already stapled!

2.  Then Dr H finished up on Topic #9 Ozone Depletion in the Stratosphere

3.  After a short break, we continued on with Topic #10 Thermodynamics

4.  Class was dismissed EARLY -- with the understanding that students will go through the TOPC #10 presentation above and test their understanding of the concepts in the slides with the  IN-CLASS SELF TEST questions (beginning with SLIDE #24) --  instead of doing it in class.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• RQ-4 is due tomorrow WEDNESDAY Oct 1st   (at the regular time:  Lecture 41 @ noon & Lecture 51 @ 4:30 pm)
  
  ASSIGNMENT I-2 is due  on Thu Oct 2.  Attend one of the remaining optional help session or a TA office hour (posted under Teaching Team) if you would like some extra help.

      beginning with Slide # 24  (nothing to turn it -- but be prepared to share what you know in Thursday's class).
