JUS 452/552 Israeli Women

This interdisciplinary course introduces students to sociological, political, anthropological, historical and literary readings of the status and role of women in Israel. Work by leading Israeli feminists in diverse disciplines is surveyed with an eye to asses the place of women in Zionism, the Israel Defense Forces, the Peace Movement, Religion and Culture.
