|
|
NATIVE SPEAKERS
|
|
Native
speakers of Hebrew may not receive Hebrew Credit
by Exam credit.
|
|
A native speaker is defined as one who has completed her/his education
through secondary school
in Israel, regardless of their parent's native
language.
|
A student who attended grade school
(through eighth grade) in Israel, and who then moved out of
Israel, is
not considered a native speaker. |
|
A student
educated outside of Israel
whose parents are native Hebrew speakers, and in whose
home some
Hebrew is the primary spoken language, is not considered a native speaker.

DUPLICATING UNITS
|
|
Hebrew credits
earned through Hebrew Credit by Exam
testing can not duplicate units
already
presented for admission to the
University of Arizona.
|
Hebrew Credit by Exam credits can
not duplicate any Hebrew
language course(s) completed at
The University of Arizona.
|
|
Hebrew Credit by Exam can
not be used for as a GRO (Grade
Replacement Opportunity). |
Hebrew Credit by Exam can not be
used to replace an existing Hebrew language grade. Students
who received a
failing grade in a modern Hebrew language course at The University of Arizona
can
take the Hebrew Credit by Exam test and receive credit
and/or grade for that exam, however the
original, failing grade will remain
on the student's transcripts. |

taken for grade
and not pass/fail or credit only
