Introduce Special Guest
- Mr. Greg Fahey, Associate Vice President, Government Relations - Eddie Gomez
Mr. Fahey reviews his hand-out Finance Advisory Committee Revenue & Budget
Update, October 22, 2009, to explain fiscal nightmare the UA is currently
facing. He strongly encourages everyone who believes in higher education, to
write a short email or letter to current legislators. Something simple to let
them know that, as a voter, an issue is important to you and your support will
be strongly influenced by actions taken on your behalf. He also indicated, if
you like what a legislator or politician is doing, or attempting to do, you
volunteer just a little time with efforts to endorse. This could mean an
afternoon passing out flyers, or an evening on the phones. The more you get
involved, the more insight you can gain.
Mr. Fahey does Office of State Government updates and will make sure our
representatives are added to his list serve. They will then pass along the
information to our membership through our listserv.
